Bonnie "Prince" Billy: Daytrotter Sessions

Wedding's finally over, and it was a lot of fun while it lasted. Best party in the city of champions this past weekend, I'm sure. Made up a wedding playlist which I might attempt to post here sometime, but till then, let's try to catch up with the world of music. Some not-so-life-altering things have happened (a new Beyonce album, Beyonce on all my TV channels, Beyonce generally in my face), and other great events have occured (Bob Dylan at the top of the charts). Here's something that's bound to make us all happy this morning - some new Bonnie "Prince" Billy recorded at the fantastic Daytrotter Sessions. If you haven't heard of the Daytrotter Sessions, head to Daytrotter.com and read all about it. Basically, these guys get touring bands touring on their way to or from Chicago to stop and do a live session of four songs at Futureappletree Studio 1, often using their collection of vintage instruments. The recordings are available exclusively through Daytrotter.com—one featured band and four new songs each week.
