Bjork: Live, Radio City Music Hall, NY., May 2, 2007

The closest Bjork is to me on the Volta tour is her Vancouver stop and work won't let me go there. CJ offered me a chance to ride along on a road trip to that gig, but work won't let me go. Anyone see where this is going? F@#%!*&K!

For now, all I am left with is digging for mementos of the glory, and NY is our first stop. Not the best quality recording, but this is a solid ipod listen. And remember to buy Volta when it drops May 8th - your ears deserve it.

Declare Independence and Wanderlust are highly recommended, and are my fave tracks from Volta at the moment.

Sigur Rós: Live, Montreux Jazz Festival, Switzerland, July 13, 2001

A splendid way to start the week, with some Icelandic love from the amazing Sigur Rós. By far their best live set I have come accross, and I strongly recommend the haunting "Nyja Lagio" (a song which I believe is only part of their live repertoire and only appears as a live version on an early single release).
